The representatives of Aleksandras Stulginskis University prof. Kestutis Navickas, assoc. prof. Kestutis Venslauskas and PhD student Mantas Rubežius from the Institute of Energy and Biotechnology Engineering and assoc. prof. Gediminas Vasiliauskas from Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Safety participated in the conference „Advances and Innovations in Agricultural Engineering“ in Herning, Denmark, 26-30 November 2018. Conference was dedicated for challenges in modern agriculture covering research in Robotics and Precision Farming, Environment and Energy Efficiency, Safety and Ergonomics. Researchers from ASU submitted 3 presentations.
Meetings and discussions with representatives of leading companies working in areas of robotics, precision farming, livestock and agricultural machinery, energy, knowledge and services were performed on agricultural fair “Agromek 2018”.
Visits to Xergi A/S and Biogas laboratory of Arhus University in Foulum were important and fruitful. Modern equipment and advanced methods were introduced during those visits. Possibilities of future collaboration and joint projects were discussed.
