ASU doctoral student participated in Tallinn University of Technology


I am Egidijus Katinas. PhD student of mechanical engineering of Agricultural faculty of Aleksandras Stulginskis University. During 9–21 of September, I had possibility to make a traineeship in Tribology and Material Testing Research Laboratory of Tallinn University of Technology.

Together with senior research scientist Maksim Antonov we have made erosion and scratch experiments. Results will be published in scientific journals and dissertation.Devices used for scratch and erosion experiments: universal tribometer CETR/BRUKER UMT-2 and centrifugal acceleration of Kleis CAK

On 14 of September Tallinn University of Technology celebrate 100th anniversary. I had a chance to participate in open doors day, rock opera about university and other events. One of most impressing show was presentation of self-driving car called Iseauto. It is a result of cooperation of Tallinn University of Technology and Silberauto.
